Parklife review! Melbourne Parklife was so good this year, the weather was PERFECT and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl was an awesome venue.
Absolute highlight of the day was Missy Elliot. She blew my mind with how happy she was to be performing and was so generous with the crowd. She acknowledged a girl from the crowd (who was so happy she was crying) and passed out signed sneakers and t-shirts. Being right up the front was definitely worth it so the crazy back up dancers too!
Other highlights were Kele from Bloc Party (Tenderoni is an amazing song), The Wombats doing their hit Tokyo, Midnight Juggernauts, Sinden and Groove Armada for the finale.
Sooooooooo fun but exhausting by the end. Now currently trying to get my shit together as I lost my wallet and broke my phone! Had a little too much fun.

Inventor Of Stockings, I Salute You

I absolutely LOVE a good pair of black stockings, or tights if you will. They just go with EVERYTHING. Make me feel comfortable and confident. They are slimming and hide the bits you don't want to show (like not shaving your legs all winter) and you can get away with higher hemlines! Not being able to wear tights is the one downside to Summer! So it's almost time to farewell tights, I'll see you again soon to resume our love affair.
